All advanced joint manipulation techniques
are taught under careful supervision and their use in treating
many musculo-skeletal problems and sports injuries are demonstrated
and explained.
This Thai massage course examines the mechanics of the process,
enabling you to treat with confidence many sports injuries and conditions
that result in chronic pain.
What is the difference between Thai massage and Western Sports
Massage?
Most
sports injuries involve damage to muscle fibres, myofascia or tendons
and they are commonly caused by overuse of muscles that are not
functionally balanced with other muscles in their group and with
their antagonists.
Thai massage enables every individual muscle to assume its normal
relaxed length when not contracting.
When injury does occur the controlled stretches and manipulations
in Thai massage have an unrivalled ability to speed healing and
restore pain-free function compared with Western Sports Massage.
Sports Thai Massage provides maintenance that muscles need, improves
performance by reducing the risk of injury for athletes and dancers
during their training. This Thai massage course will teach the aspiring
practioner everything necessary to become
a competent and advanced therapist in the discipline.
