Staying in Oxford Hotels for the weekend
What a lovely city, you must find and book one of the grandiose Oxford hotels so you can relax and absorb all the culture and architectural delights of this place. They don't call it the city of the dreaming spires for nothing!
Situated to the north of London and south of Birmingham, many people send their offspring here to become educated. Rivalled only by Cambridge, Oxford has the edge because of its beautiful places to stay whilst visiting academically minded family.
The hotels show the beautiful stone so representative of the area, rivalling the Cotswolds buildings which are just 20 or 30 miles to the west. Wherever you decide to stay, you will be promised some of the most delightful food and restaurants outside of London.
Make a real trip of it and travel westwards to the city of Bath, and not too far to the north west you can make the Cheltenham festivals, including the race festival with the famous Gold Cup. Of course, Oxford will be easy to find a hotel in, as all the hotels in Cheltenham and the surrounding area will be full. A very pleasant jaunt along the A40, taking in some beautiful countryside.
